Bob Dawson
CEO & Director/Producer
Bob Dawson is an award-winning director, producer, editor and narrator. His works have covered subjects from an Ohio family’s gift of a new home on ABC’s ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’, to a survivor’s escape from the collapsing World Trade Center towers on 9/11. He recently directed and produced 'Wow Signal', recognized as 'Best U.S. Documentary Feature' by the Los Angeles Theatrical Release Competition & Awards. He also directed, produced and narrated the 2021 feature documentary, 'Heart of an Ideal'.
Michael Shaw
Writer & Producer
Michael Shaw has been a writer and media strategist for more than 30 years. He has spent his career in brand image development and marketing for clients in a wide variety of industries. Now focused on documentary filmmaking, Mike spends many hours of research developing stories that not only inform but entertain. He recently wrote & produced the feature documentary, 'Heart of an Ideal', and the award-winning feature documentary, 'Wow Signal'.
James Lehr Kennedy

Company Founder
James Lehr Kennedy was an artist and entrepreneur. The founder of a multinational telecommunications company, he developed non-profit organizations focused on the arts, including Next Future Films. He served as Executive Producer of the award-winning feature documentary, 'Wow Signal', as well as 'Heart of an Ideal'.
We will honor Jim's memory through future productions, and continue his mission of making the world a better place.

Heart of an Ideal (2021)
A feature-length documentary covering the 150-year history of Ohio Northern University, located in Ada, Ohio. Featuring interviews and footage not seen in nearly 50 years, this documentary explores the legacy of the northwestern Ohio university founded in 1871, and shows that the heart and ideal of founder Henry Solomon Lehr lives on in the life of ONU.
Premiered October 2021.
Wow Signal (2019)
On a late summer evening in 1977, Ohio radio astronomers discovered a strong, interstellar signal that is believed by many to be the best evidence of communication from an extraterrestrial civilization.
